The Senior Analyst - Protective Intelligence, is a part of the client's Security and Resilience organization, supports corporate security programs in collaboration with regional teams and provides twenty-four hour, seven day per week coverage. They will support the Insider Risk, Strategic Intelligence, and Travel Risk Management programs, along with all-hazard threat monitoring, such as natural disasters, security incidents, and geopolitical situations, to proactively identify and mitigate risks to business operations, facilities, and personnel. This role reports to the Associate Director of Protective Intelligence and contributes to the company's twenty-four hour, seven day per week crisis management contact point, triaging incidents to the appropriate Security and Resilience leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  • Participates as a team member to ensure coverage of the twenty-four hour, seven day per week emergency telephone line that escalates external and internal events that have the potential to negatively impact employees, facilities, and operations, or cause physical or environmental damage, or threaten financial standing, reputation, or property.
  • Conducts proactive reviews to determine if threats exist to executives, travelers, or events.
  • Alerts Security and Resilience team members about threats to the company.
  • Manages tools and technologies that ensure leadership wellbeing and support Country Incident Management Teams, the Corporate Incident Assessment Team, and the Corporate Crisis Management Team, as warranted.
  • Reports cyber security incidents and product integrity incidents.
  • Provides strategic analysis of threat events to senior managers.
  • Provides tactical assessments and support.
  • Conducts data scraping in open source channels and through vendors to identify security deteriorations and trends.
  • Drives best practices and provides guidance.
  • Works shifts, including after hours, weekends, and holidays.
  • All other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Security Studies, Political Science, International Relations, or a related field. Three to four years' relevant experience in a security operations center, or similar environment, with analytical, investigative, emergency response, security, or geopolitical assessment experience. Demonstrated experience synthesizing large amounts of information from multiple sources into concise, analytic assessments. Experience in maintaining confidentiality with sensitive information.

 

  • Advanced degree and, or relevant certifications preferred.
  • Proficiency in other languages preferred.
  • Knowledgeable of the intelligence cycle, including analytic methodologies and techniques.
  • Able to apply expertise in multi-source intelligence collection, assessment, and dissemination.
  • Should be strong in oral and written communication skills, especially in preparing clear and concise summaries of critical events in a timely manner.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
  • Action oriented, with a passion for getting things done quickly, efficiently, and properly.
  • Able to maintain professional composure when dealing with unusual and stressful circumstances.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, to include Teams.
