The Operations Security Manager, who will be embedded to one of our major MNC client. Reporting to the Southeast Asia Security Manager, will head a security team of 15 - 25 security officers (team structure can vary) primarily responsible for ensuring the security and safety of Clients premises, property and, most importantly, personnel.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating 24/7.
  • Delivery of core function Office of Global Security (OGS) responsibilities at both sites.
  • Providing advice on Access Management: ensuring access management systems and processes are being adhered to.
  • Providing advice on Alarm Management; managing the effective security response to all alarms impacting Stakeholder's space.
  • Incident Management; coordinating OGS SGP response to local issues and incidents impacting the security and safety environment.
  • Life Safety; overseeing the OGS’s life safety response capabilities and responsibilities within Stakeholder's space.
  • Risk Management: ensuring patrol, system, and equipment check protocols and reporting are adhered to, so all OGS dependencies are in good working order. Any defects or risks should be identified and addressed in an appropriate and timely manner.
  • Risk mitigation: supporting facility and risk assessment processes to identify and mitigate facility risks.
  • Implementing team training and drilling initiatives to drive and reinforce core competency capabilities.
  • Working with OGS Management in identifying core function process, performance, and productivity gains.
  • Monitoring and driving team performance to meet and exceed OGS requirements.
  • Identifying and escalating any breaches or areas of concern relating to OGS personnel, procedures, or systems.
  • Leadership: providing, by way of example, guidance and direction to the team that best enables team members to achieve individual potential and realise best practice delivery to Stakeholder.
  • Supporting (or leading in absence of SEA Security Manager) the OGS incident response to security /safety issues impacting the Stakeholder's business in SEA.
  • Overseeing Security Systems & Projects with effective delivery of day-to-day security provision to Stakeholder's Offices with supervisory over Security Systems & Projects.
  • In addition to Singapore/ SEA operational requirements, following developmental roles are also envisaged as forming part of the Singapore Security Manager.
  • Supporting regional innovation and performance improvement.
  • Supporting regional management to develop an internal audit. 
  • Short term deploy ability to support regionwide resiliency and capacity. 
  • Supporting quality control assurance for other security functions within SEA (e.g. Jakarta).
  • All other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

Graduate with at least five years of security advisor and risk management / mitigation experience. 

  • Strong analytical and decision-making
  • Excellent communication and negotiation
  • High level of integrity and
  • Proficiency in claims management systems and Microsoft Office.

  • Travel, as required.
