The Site Security Lead is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the company's physical and digital assets at a designated corporate site. This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining security protocols, managing security personnel, and coordinating with other departments to address security needs and incidents. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to respond effectively to emergencies.

Responsibilities

  • Represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive security policies, procedures, and protocols.

  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate potential risks.

  • Oversee the installation, maintenance, and management of security systems (e.g., surveillance cameras, access control systems, alarm systems).

  • Lead and supervise the on-site security team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.

  • Schedule and manage security shifts to ensure 24/7 coverage.

  • Provide ongoing training and development for security staff on best practices and emergency response procedures.

  • Respond to security incidents and emergencies, coordinating with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed.

  • Conduct thorough investigations of security breaches and incidents, documenting findings and implementing corrective actions.

  • Maintain an incident reporting system and ensure timely and accurate documentation of all security-related activities.

  • Work closely with other departments (e.g., IT, HR, Facilities) to ensure comprehensive security measures are in place.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for security-related matters with external agencies and vendors.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with local law enforcement and emergency responders.

  •  Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to security.

  • Prepare and present regular security reports to senior management.

  • Stay informed about new threats, trends, and best practices in corporate security.

  • All other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

Any Bachelor's degree, Security Management, or a related field. Advanced certifications are preferred. Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in security management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

 

  • Strong understanding of physical and digital security systems and protocols.
  •  Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and make quick decisions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks related to security duties (e.g., patrolling, responding to emergencies).

  • Ability to work in various environmental conditions.

Working Conditions:
