The EHS PROGRAM MANAGER is responsible to assist facilities and local safety liaisons to integrate localized environmental health and safety guidelines, programs and training and to Support Senior Corporate EHS Manager with operational management in India .

Responsibilities

  • Represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  • Conduct trainings on hazard assessments and review the work of RE&F team at all sites
  • Understand and analyse EHS data and information (EHS laws, regulations, benchmarking studies, industry best practices.
  • Conduct risk assessments of existing portfolio of corporate offices, identify EHS risk and developing remediation and mitigation plans
  • Ensure incidents are being reported and investigate; advise on corrective and preventive actions and ensure completion. Develop a trend analysis of the incidents and report to relevant stakeholders
  • Assist in managing programs such as fall hazard control, electrical safe work, hazardous energy control (LOTO), machine safeguarding, confined spaces, hot work system impairment and fire protection systems
  • Assist in managing various communication programs for Amazon employees such as Newsletters, specific topic-based communication
  • Help implement the global EHS management system in India and conduct EHS Management System Audits at assigned sites.
  • Has to be able to lead internal audits for sites based on various standards like British safety, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 & OHSAS 18001
  • All other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

Graduate with Minimum 12 years of experience in EHS and EHS auditing.

 

  • Ensure all operations are carried out in compliance with applicable regulatory requirement
  • Coordinate for safety committee meetings on site & ensure actions are getting closed
  • Strong knowledge of Occupational Health standards
  • Familiarity with FSSAI requirements
