The Security Administrator, assigned to one of Pinkerton’s largest global clients, will oversee the issuance and programming of replacement badges and smartcards to ensure timely distribution to employees across Brazil. In this role, the Administrator also supports daily activities of Security Operations Managers, develops and monitors security metrics, and coordinates close protection requests.

Responsibilities

  • Represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  • Oversee the issuance of temporary badges for employees who have misplaced theirs.
  • Coordinate the provision of temporary badges to the Facilities team for short-term vendors and individuals awaiting permanent badge registration, including the reissuance of lost temporary badges.
  • Administer the issuance of replacement badges for lost or damaged ones, and distribute badges to new employees.
  • Manage the issuance, programming, and distribution of smartcards to employees across Brazil.
  • Approve Area Access Manager (AAM) access requests for Brazilian operations.
  • Ensure adherence to processes within the access control system and the Smartcard Deployment Tool.
  • Maintain inventory management of blank cards, procure supplies as needed, and liaise with the local security manager for printer maintenance and ribbon supply coordination.
  • Conduct the annual audit of badge systems.
  • Provide day-to-day support to Security Operations Managers.
  • Coordinate close-in protection requests, from obtaining service quotations to executing operations and providing ongoing support.
  • Identify, collect, and analyze core metrics and data associated with the development and delivery of security programs.
  • Conduct periodic review sessions to achieve quality service delivery provision by suppliers and vendors.
  • Manage the collation of data from across the Brazil client sites in response to ad-hoc requests, ensuring such requests are allocated, tracked to completion, and the output recorded.
  • Support development for internal and external service optimization.
  • All other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

High School diploma with at least two years of security operations experience.

 

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills; English and Portuguese.
  • Project management skills.
  • Problem-solving skills and sound decision-making ability.
  • Client orientated and results driven.
  • Able to work efficiently under multiple deadlines and competing priorities.
  • Attentive to detail and accuracy.

  • Computer skills; Microsoft 365 Suite.

Working Conditions:
