The Command Centre Lead willo join our team at our corporate headquarters. As a Command Centre Lead, he will oversee and manage all aspects of security operations within our command centre. This role involves strategic oversight and coordination, ensuring the safety and security of our personnel, property, and information while leading a team to accomplish security objectives effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  • Project Coordination and Management: Coordinate projects with local contractors and manage LSPs, ensuring timely and efficient completion of tasks related to security systems.
  • Turnstile and Lock Management: Handle installation and troubleshooting for turnstiles like Try locks, flap barriers, Vonder pinlocks, and Schlage hardware boards, including access controllers and readers.
  • Camera Systems: Oversee the testing, commissioning, and configuration of analogue, IP, and PTZ cameras. Responsible for maintaining and backing up camera footage on a monthly basis.
  • System Monitoring: Conduct daily monitoring of system alarms and CCTV for any discrepancies or issues, responding promptly to emergency failures.
  • IT and Networking: Possess basic IT knowledge to address hardware and network issues.
  • Access Control: Perform monthly physical checks of access cards and manage access control across the facility.
  • System and Fault Reporting: Prioritize and address multiple tasks simultaneously, reporting any faults or issues related to systems as observed.
  • Maintenance and Backup: Maintain the CCTV front-end application and ensure server backups are conducted on a monthly basis.
  • All other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

Extensive experience in security operations, preferably within a command center or corporate environment.

 

  • Strong proficiency in security technologies and systems, including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.

  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a variety of stakeholders.

  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse team, fostering a collaborative and proactive security culture


Working Conditions:
