The Global Security Operations Center Analyst, assigned to one of Pinkerton’s largest global clients, conducts in-depth research, open-source analysis, and social media review to monitor threats that may impact the safety and wellbeing of the client’s executives, operations, and/or assets. The Analyst will vet potential and/or actual crisis response activations, as well as provide analysis on intelligence gathered.
Maintain awareness of global security developments, leveraging open-source intelligence, social media, and specialized tools to identify and assess potential threats to employees, operations, and company assets.
Support the analysis of incoming intelligence and contribute to the ongoing evaluation and improvement of threat monitoring practices and reporting processes.”
Monitor security alarms and alerts from multiple systems, including intrusion, access control, fire, and life-safety systems.
Conduct continuous CCTV camera monitoring to detect, assess, and document security incidents.
Perform alarm troubleshooting and triage to determine validity, severity, and appropriate response.
Identify and report system issues, trends, or recurring false alarms.
Assist with testing and validation of security systems and procedures.
Initiate and coordinate response actions, including notifications and escalations per standard operating procedures.
Process access card requests, including creating or updating profiles, printing cards, and assigning or restricting access in accordance with approved authorizations.
Accurately document incidents, actions taken, and outcomes in security management systems.
Maintain situational awareness across multiple sites and systems simultaneously.
Maintain highly sensitive and confidential information.
Track, document, and report progress on projects and initiatives in areas of responsibility.
Communicate with senior security management on matters related to employee welfare, global incidents, operational issues and critical situations.
Communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams, management, and external responders as needed.
Complete administrative duties as assigned in support of security-related programs.
Maintain communications with internal and external partners as they relate to the security programs.
Follow established GSOC policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
Support projects and functions as assigned by either a GSOC Supervisor or GSOC Manager.
Bachelor’s degree with at least two years within a GSOC environment plus intelligence, geopolitical, or security-related experience.
