The Security Coordinator be responsible for the supervision, maintenance, and development of the client’s surveillance activities, personal safety of suppliers, contractors, visitors, and facilities, as well as the protection of confidential information. The professional in this position also provides exceptional customer service and manages relationships with both clients and staff. This includes hands-on coordination, efficiently resolving operational and administrative incidents, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities requisite for threat identification speedy implementation protective measures.
  • Experience creating and implementing ongoing training on new policies or procedures.
  • Provide the client with concierge-level security and safety at the company location and events.
  • Lead responses to incidents as they arise and related investigations in close collaboration with the client.
  • Provide security advice and support for high-level events in the region.
  • All other duties, as assigned.      

Qualifications

BA Degree preferably in Security, Law, Administration, Logistic or any similar career (CPP, PSP are plus). 6 years of proven experience working in Security/FM in the private sector. Bilingual (English, Portuguese. Spanish will be a plus). 

  • Possess excellent communication abilities, including the capacity to train and inspire staff, oversee external suppliers, negotiate contracts, serve as an escalation point for security-related matters, and collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Demonstrate expertise in TAPA security requirements and audits through past experience.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of electronic security management systems, including intrusion detection, closed-circuit television (CCTV), and access control.
  • Demonstrate a methodical and organized work style, combined with a flexible approach to work.
  • Adept at managing dynamic workloads and effectively resolving ad hoc security situations.
  • Possess the ability to seamlessly transition between operational, tactical, and strategic tasks.
