The Insider Risk Investigator, assigned to a specific client, will lead investigations and support initiatives for the Global Investigations Team. The Investigator will be responsible for developing and executing investigation strategies and plans, interview of witnesses, and evaluation of relevant evidence.  The Investigator will also be responsible for monitoring tasks, tracking performance, preparation of investigative documentation, and compiling reports to enable decision makers. Position is based in Romania.

Responsibilities

 

  • Represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  • Investigate a wide range of security and ethics violations to include insider threat, complex fraud, and incidents of potential violence.
  • Interview of witnesses.
  • Evaluate complex insider risk digital evidence.
  • Liaise with strategic business partners in designated geographic areas.
  • Compile thorough investigative reports.
  • Prepare final investigative documentation.
  • Prepare presentations based on investigative results in order to enable decision makers.
  • Support the strategy, design, and implementation of initiatives that support insider risk program efforts.
  • All other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree and three to five years of corporate insider risk and project management experience.

 

  • Experience with insider risk and corporate investigations.
  • Knowledge of computer investigation skills and technical tools as they relate to insider threat.
  • Ability to partner with internal departments, investigative groups, and law enforcement agencies.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Serve as an effective team member.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments with competing deadlines and under stressful conditions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability  to work independently.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Computer skills; Microsoft Office.

  • Must be able to see, hear, speak, and write clearly in order to communicate with employees and/or customers.

  • Ability to adjust focus between close and distance vision.
  • On-call and extended work hours, as needed.
  • Travel, as required.
