The Intelligence Analyst, assigned to one of Pinkerton’s global clients, will support the client’s anti-counterfeiting initiatives to combat pharmaceutical counterfeiting on an international scale.  The Analyst plays a critical role in conducting open-source intelligence (OSINT) research and analysis, identifying connections from limited or disparate information, and producing actionable intelligence reports.

Responsibilities

  • Represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  • Conduct extensive open-source and social media research to support time-sensitive casework.
  • Analyse and synthesize data from multiple sources to prepare intelligence products in a logical and structured framework.
  • Produce descriptive written reports and deliver oral briefings to stakeholders.
  • Maintain expertise in the functional areas of pharmaceutical counterfeiting and illegal medicine diversion.
  • Collaborate with representatives from member companies, law enforcement agencies, public health organizations, and anti-counterfeiting groups to exchange information and address intelligence gaps.
  • Use initiative to identify and develop new information sources and demonstrate flexibility in managing multiple work assignments.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (mandatory); preferred fields of study include English, Criminal Justice, Intelligence Studies, International Affairs, or Political Science or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.   • Prior experience or knowledge in the pharmaceutical sector is not essential but will be considered a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to write concise, logical, and clear reports.
  • Experience using open-source tools and techniques for intelligence gathering.
  • Able to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures.
  • Effective verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in one or more of the following languages: Arabic, French, Spanish, or Turkish (preferred but not essential).
  • Attentive to detail and accuracy.
  • Able to identify and adapt quickly to emerging situations.
  • Able to thrive in a rapidly changing environment with limited instruction.
  • Serve as an effective and proactive team member.

 

Working Conditions:
