RSOC Operator will be responsible for delivering operations within the GPS security operations center and control room across all client’s sites in the respective region (EMEA with contingency to take GSOC operations when required). Will report to the RSOC Shift Manager, who in turn reports to the GPS Country Security Manager of Physical Security for the Czech Republic, and will use operational best practice to ensure the physical safety and security of client’s people, buildings, and assets.

Responsibilities

  • Represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  • Provide a high level of service to local and remote client’s sites and staff.
  • Coordinate direct action and responses to incidents and alarm activation.
  • Compile reports for the RSOC Shift Manager in order to share with GPS management on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
  • Provide high quality written and verbal reports as and when required.
  • Taking telephone enquiries.
  • Liaise with emergency services and other monitoring agents as and when directed.
  • Assist in the collation and preservation of digital media evidence.
  • Operate dedicated RSOC software and applications to manage access to EMEA sites, including access badge printing and complete access badge management.
  • Handle remote access management to client’s Colo Datacenters using dedicated software.
  • Handle triaging and management of any Security Incident raised in EMEA region via dedicated software and applications such as Resolver.
  • Provide professional customer service when responding to raised Security Incidents received via Contact Pro call center application, phone call, email or MS Teams. ServiceNow.
  • Participate in creation process of Standard Operations Procedures (SOPs), Working Instructions, Playbooks, Manuals and other documentation related to RSOC’s Operation.
  • Participate in Power Bi reporting project, creating sophisticate Dashboard visuals of reported data, process mapping project, creating visuals and workflows using Signavio application.All other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and minimum 1 year experience of working within a security environment similar to that of a security operations center and/or control room, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.

 

  • High proficiency in using IT applications and evidence of data entry and retrieval, keyboard skills, to a speed of at least 25wpm with at least 75% accuracy.
  • A good understanding of video, access and guard management systems.
  • Familiarity with Genetec, C-Cure, Trackforce or similar integrated systems is highly desirable; demonstration of use of other systems is a must.
  • Experience in basic security analysis, problem solving, handling preliminary inquiries, incident assessment and triaging reports.
  • Basic knowledge of some technical elements associated with security systems such as IP networks, servers, LAN/WAN.
  • Basic working knowledge of data protection policies such as GDPR and exposure to confidential and sensitive information.
  • Ability to pass background verification.
  • Comprehensive English language (C1 required); any second languages are highly desirable.
  • SIA license (or country equivalent) desirable.
