The Workplace Violence Prevention Officer will be responsible for assessing and responding to reports of workplace violence threats in addition to building and maintaining partnerships with key stakeholders. Working under the supervision of the Global Lead of Workplace Violence Prevention. As part of Global Physical Security, will contribute to providing expertise and resources to Global Physical Security Operations, Human Resources, and other key stakeholders for risk mitigation involving global locations and personnel.

Responsibilities

  • Represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  • Provide cross-functional collaboration experience with HR, Legal, and Security.
  • Assess and respond to workplace violence threats, including internal and external incidents (threats of violence, harassment, assault, inappropriate communications, or suicide threats).
  • Conduct thorough risk evaluations and threat assessments to support risk mitigation strategies.
  • Manage and mitigate workplace aggression and insider threats.
  • Collaborate with Security, Human Resources, Employee Relations, and Legal teams to build cross-functional partnerships.
  • Lead and participate in training and awareness sessions focused on incident prevention.
  • Analyze trends and patterns to identify root causes and recommend preventive measures.
  • Document and track all escalation cases, compile case management metrics, and report on outcomes.
  • Serve as a key liaison with global, regional, and local teams to ensure a safe and secure work environment.
  • Participate in drills, simulations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support the development and enhancement of workplace violence prevention processes..
  • All other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, Behavioral Science, Psychology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). Professional certifications such as Certified Threat Manager (CTM), CPP, or equivalent preferred. Proven experience in threat assessment, workplace violence prevention, or corporate security environments.

 

  • Ability to analyze incidents, identify patterns, root causes, and recommend solutions.
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills.
  • Collaboration & Teamwork: Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams in a corporate environment.
  • Proficiency in maintaining detailed records, tracking metrics, and reporting.
  • Ability for responding and decision making under pressure.
  • Continuous Improvement Mindset.

Working Conditions:

  • Occasional reaching and lifting of small objects and operating office equipment.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, and/or walking. 
  • Work extended hours when required.
