The Threat Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for the monitoring of all-source information to identify, assess, and report on physical security threats to employees, facilities, events, and other business activities within the client’s company. The role holder will work within the Intelligence, Threat, and Crisis Management Security Program Area (SPA), People Protect Global Physical Security. Will report to the Co - Global Head of ITCM.

Responsibilities

  • Represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  • Monitor and analyze diverse intelligence sources (including OSINT and internal data) to identify emerging threats.
  • Align intelligence processes with the requirements of internal stakeholders (Global Security).
  • Apply structured analysis to assess threats (geopolitical risks, natural and human-made disasters).
  • Deliver threat consultancy services.
  • Support Security Operations Centers.
  • Review Risk - and vulnerability - aligned threat.
  • Conduct briefings for senior leaders and line-of-business stakeholders.
  • Develop and enhance internal and external partnerships.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of threat intelligence capabilities.
  • Write and publish intelligence assessments All other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

Three years of professional experience as an intelligence analyst, demonstrated critical thinking and analytic skills. Relevant educational experience in related fields (Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science, History, and/or Intelligence) or equivalent professional experience (i.e., military or government service). Experience of MS Office (to include SharePoint and Teams); Visio, Mind-Manager or other mind-mapping/process flow tools; i2 Analyst Notebook, Maltego or equivalent visual analysis tools. Data analytic experience highly desirable. Previous experience of working in a multi-disciplined threat or risk team desirable. Experience of working in/support client in a multinational organization desirable.

 

  • Ability to use structured analytic techniques, in line with recognized academic, government, and industry approaches, to build deep insight into threats to client.
  • Engage and develop internal stakeholder and new customer relationships, as well as partnerships to manage converged threats (geopolitical and cyber threats, for example) in support of cross-departmental risk management.
  • Develop both internal and external relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of team.
  • Demonstrate strong communication, engagement and English language skills.
  • Ability to pass background verification.
