We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented GSOC Support Officer, assigned to one of Pinkerton’s global pharmaceutical clients. The GSOC Support Officer will play a pivotal role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC), ensuring the safety and security of personnel, assets, and information. The successful candidate will provide administrative and operational support, manage incident documentation, operate security systems, and uphold data protection standards.

Responsibilities

  • Represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  • Provide administrative support for GSOC operations, including scheduling, document management, and internal communications.
  • Operate and monitor CCTV and access control systems (e.g., CCURE), proactively identifying and escalating incidents.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records including incident logs, visitor access reports, and shift handover documentation.
  • Draft, revise, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure alignment with operational protocols.
  • Operate the Incident Management System (IMS) to log, track, and follow up on incidents and notifications.
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR and internal data protection policies when handling sensitive information.
  • Support quality assurance efforts by auditing documentation and ensuring adherence to reporting standards.
  • Respond to and manage email, telephone, and intercom communications professionally and efficiently.
  • Provide guidance and information to staff, visitors, and external stakeholders regarding incidents and procedures.
  • Maintain familiarity with emergency procedures and be prepared to support their implementation.
  • Organize and archive electronic and paper-based records for audit readiness and operational continuity.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by line management to support GSOC operations.
  • All other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Business Administration, Criminal Justice, or a related field preferred.

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a security, administrative, or operations support role,  or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.

 

  • Strong understanding of physical security principles, incident management, and emergency response protocols.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Familiarity with GDPR and data protection best practices.
  • Experience working in a GSOC or similar security operations environment.
  • Knowledge of security systems such as CCURE, Lenel, Milestone, or Everbridge.
  • Experience with incident management systems (IMS) or similar platforms.
  • Security industry certifications or qualifications.
  • Additional language skills are a plus.
  • Strong communication skills with a comprehensive level in the English language, written and spoken.
