The Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) Coordinator, assigned to one of Pinkerton largest global clients, will be responsible for supporting initiatives across security operations, intelligence, and occupational health and safety. This role focuses on developing, maintaining, and enhancing resources, processes, and communication tools to ensure operational readiness, compliance, and the safety of the client's employees and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  • Maintain safety procedures, manuals, and documentation.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify potential health and safety risks.
  • Develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks and prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Monitor and review the effectiveness of risk control measures and make necessary adjustments.
  • Stay updated with the latest safety regulations and ensure that training programs reflect current standards.
  • Collaborate with external health professionals and consultants as needed.
  • Work closely with management, employees, and external stakeholders to promote a culture of safety.
  • Participate in safety committees and represent the organization in safety-related forums and events.
  • Build and maintain a security culture by meeting with stakeholders, creating new stakeholders and seeking out value adds for security partnerships.
  • Working with the Senior Regional Security Manager, develop, rehearse, and modify all associated security, crisis, and emergency plans across the region.
  • Support new building openings by providing risk assessments, reviewing design drawings, and ensuring physical security concepts and support are enabled for the site.
  • Act as a liaison for relationship with law enforcement, regulatory agencies and professional security groups.
  • Implement, support, and/or manage all regional security and safety programs including travel security, executive protection, corporate events, ergonomics, emergency response, life safety, regulatory compliance, risk management, etc.
  • Effectively influence management, stakeholders, and 3rd party providers to prioritize remediation of
  • security issues.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on physical security, providing consultation to WPS teams and other key stakeholders.
  • Partner with peers in the Physical Security and Safety field to explore new industry best practices and assess their strengths, weaknesses, and suitability.
  • Provide in depth geopolitical and international assessments on world events, with concise and timely
  • reports to regional stakeholders.
  • Partner with Global Director of Security- USA to assist with threat assessments in each region as well as location risk intelligence.
  • Work directly with the GSOC as a supporting partner for large scale or high visibility geopolitical or security risk events, gathering timely intelligence.
  • Assist with intelligence briefings to EMEA business units, providing intelligence that is timely, impactful and relevant to each region.
  • Build relationships with WPS partners in EMEA region to better understand risk tolerances and thresholds, allowing for customizable and catered reports.
  • Utilize the Ontic platform to track and showcase intelligence work for metrics reviews and overall team health and roadmap.
  • All other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in emergency management, security management, public health, communications, and/or a related field and equivalent work experience with program/project coordination related to OHS, security operations, or intelligence.

  • Emergency Manager (CEM), Physical Security Professional (PSP), or
    Occupational Health and Safety Technician (OHST) certification.
  • Able to appropriately use knowledge-sharing, content management systems, and process improvement tools.
  • Understanding of corporate or global organizational settings.
  • Understanding of compliance standards, risk mitigation practices, and process improvement
    methodologies.
  • Proficiency in knowledge management tools, process mapping software (e.g., Miro), and communication
    platforms.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear and effective
    resources.
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines..
  • Able to develop innovative strategies to enhance safety, security, and health awareness strategies.
  • Clearly convey complex information in an accessible manner.
  • Attentive to detail and accuracy.
  • Able to build strong relationships with stakeholders to promote a culture of safety and security.
  • Adaptable to to the dynamic organizational needs and evolving risks.
  • Computer skills; Microsoft Office and Smartsheet.

Working Conditions:
