The Security Project Manager, assigned to one of Pinkerton largest global clients, will be responsible for the successful and timely delivery of security projects as dictated by the Security Consultant.

Responsibilities

  • Represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  • Assess the scope definition to determine schedule and conflict/difficulties that may impact project completions in partnership with the security vendor and end-user/RE&F after intial kick-off meetings.
  • Verify the installation schedule with the security integrator who issues the schedule to the end-user, construction manager, or real estate and facilities contact.
  • Liaise between site manager/point of contact (POC) and integrator to coordinate schedules for system commissioning.
  • Coordinate with site manager/POC and Global Security Operations Centre to effect POC document completion.
  • Facilitate site manager/POC & Global Security access management interaction as required for the creation of access cards and security levels of site personnel.
  • Oversee the delivery of “work by others” with construction manager or facilities manager to include fire rated backboards, network points, phone lines, power and requirements.
  • Coordinate and manage integrator's installation efforts with owner(s) representative, local IT, and local space manager.
  • Gather and disseminate required information for security system IP addresses and IDS account numbers.
  • Oversee the project from the placement of order through to completion to ensure that all milestones, processes, corporate standards are followed and adhered to.
  • Ensure that the project is delivered as per the Security Consultant's detailed scope of works as well as the Global Security design requirements and any regional specific standards and processes.
  • Manage the technical commissioning, and where required, complete a quality control audit of the new security system.
  • Ensure the system completes a signal acceptance review and is monitored within the required timescales.
  • Verify and accept the installed documentation to ensure accuracy.
  • Support the Security Consultant with small works requests and day to day maintenance requests from RE&F.
  • Also responsible for the ensuring project closeout including sign off.
  • All other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with five to seven years of experience in a Security Project Management role which included designing and/or installation of integrated electronic security systems, preferably gained in an engineering capacity with Lenel experience.

 

  • Effective English verbal and written communication skills required for preparing clear, concise, grammatically correct materials and communicating information effectively to others.
  • Understanding and experience of project management and practices.
  • Knowledge of security operations, design, and systems integration.
  • Able to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously within a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to prioritize workload is essential to ensure meeting client deadlines.
  • Able to maintain professional composure when dealing with unusual and stressful circumstances.
  • Client orientated and results driven.
  • Ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures.
  • Proficient with AutoCAD LT for creation and manipulation of 2D security layout designs.
  • Computer skills; Microsoft Office. OneDrive, and Google Chrome.
