The Product Security Program Manager, assigned to one of Pinkerton's largest global clients, will implement Supply Chain Security program strategies which support multiple projects within a specific region. The Manager assesses the security landscape, conducts risks assessments, and partners with internal and external partners to consistently improve and maintain a world-class supply chain security program.

Responsibilities

  • Represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive supply chain security programs, strategies, and project-based initiatives for designated regions.
  • Build scalable and consistent supply chain security programs while enabling the business with innovative solutions.
  • Maintain a recognized best-in-class supply chain security program.
  • Assess the supply chain landscape and recommend modifications to security plans and supply chain security operations at both the regional and global levels.
  • Design security program process structures and flows to support various projects.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and threats within the supply chain that could lead to leaks, loss, or possible damage of client assets.
  • Create operational plans to effectively and efficiently execute supply chain security risk mitigation solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, freight forwarders, distribution centers, refurbishment centers, 3PL partners/vendors, client TradeOps, Legal, and Risk Management teams to ensure alignment with supply chain security objectives.
  • Maximize partnerships with internal and external management staff from business teams across verticals that include engineers, logistics, customer service, and other 3PLs.
  • Assist with global trade security programs such as C-TPAT and participate with others in global and regional trade security initiatives.
  • Conduct on-site audits of vendors and transit lanes where the client’s products are regularly moved, stored, manufactured, or developed.
  • Implement metric collection, analyze, and evaluate data captured to measure scale of growth, support, resource management, and performance.
  • All other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with eight years of supply chain security experience managing complex, multi-country supply chain security projects and programs involving multiple stakeholders, third-party vendors, and freight forwarding operations.

  • TAPA requirements, C-TPAT, AEO, and other trade security certifications, preferred.
  • Understanding of relevant regional and country- specific trade and regulatory compliance standards enabling the business to drive forward decisions.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal and external partners.
  • Able to lead and influence cross-functional teams to achieve security objectives.
  • Data/trend and root cause analysis skills.
  • Strategic thinker who can also support operations when necessary.
  • Serve as a collaborator with the ability to build successful cross-functional relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Project management skills.
  • Able to demonstrate courage with difficult issues despite personal risk or discomfort.
  • Able to write clearly and succinctly in technical and non-technical formats.
  • Client orientated and results driven.
  • Computer skills; Microsoft Office.
